Determining the Related Factors to the Survival Time of Inpatients With COVID-19 in Northern Iran: A Retrospective Study

Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 is a new viral and in short period, it has affected the world various economic, social, health aspects. This had high mortality rate at time of its occurrence. article aims to determine related factors survival inpatients with COVID-19 northern Iran. Methods: In this retrospective study, data 3480 patients laboratory confirmation virus caused by infection 17 hospitals covered Golestan University Medical Sciences from February 20 July 20, 2020 were used. For all included until end follow-up been done through hospital information system unit. Statistical analysis was performed using R statistical software version 3.6.2 package. Results: Out definitive COVID-19, average age 52.93±19.20 years 51.1% them women. A total 77.6% recovered 22.4% died study (781 patients, 22.4%). The median among deceased less than one day (interquartile range [IQR]: 0–5) days.
